Diagnostic assessments

The assessment process can be lengthy and involves interviews, completing checklists and the assessment administration itself. Sometimes contact with your child’s day care, pre/school, college is an important part of this process, and this can also contribute to the time taken in this process. All of this will be discussed with you during the initial appointment, and you will be kept updated throughout the process.

• Learning / academic assessment (including dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia)

• Developmental assessment (intellectual disability, developmental profile and global developmental delay)

• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

• Functional capacity and adaptive functioning assessment

• Behavioural assessment (including oppositional defiant disorder)

• Mental health assessment (including anxiety, selective mutism, OCD, childhood depression and PTSD)

• Neuropsychological assessment (attention, memory, language and executive functioning).
